In the morning,I saw a racoon climb through the backyard,it's strange.But Lisa said it's normal to see wild animals run on the backyard.It's amazing.In the school we ate a lot of American food,it's delicious,but at the same time,we were getting fat.It's garbage food mom said.And I also ate my lunch a lot,so...I must get fat.Today we went trail museum,it's boring.We didn't have enough time to look around,and we just heard the speaker introducing the history.
On the way home,we saw two children who were in the junior high school yelled someone attract to sell the lemonade,and they said "it's really cheap."We had to buy two cups of lemonade ,but we just laughed and they said"Don't make me run."And then they ran after the car,because the speed was not fast,they still were yelling.Then they were tired,and ran back to the corner.It's really funny,I haven't seen that before.
After dinner Carrie noticed that a deer was eating grass,so all guys sticked on the window,watching carefully,the deer is cute.And the deer noticed us looking at him,so it ran fast and gone.It's interesting day.

Today's morning it's really cold.And it's lucky because I met a lot of people on the MAX.Today's class it's boring,too.On the conversation time with teenagers,they always talked about cultures,I didn't really want to know American cultures,I want to chat each other,it's more confortable.
At the afternoon we went to Loyd Center,and we went to play ice-skating.It's really interesting because we can't play in Taiwan.Taiwan is too hot.
And we went to ice-skating.First,we had to ready to tight our shoes.It's difficult to someone who played at first time.I think ice-skating it's not difficult to me because I used to roller-skating in Taiwan.It's simillar.I learned easier.
But someone still feel very difficult.We saw a little girl who can play tricks by ice-skating.It's great I think she inputed a lot of energy to focus on ice-skating training.

Today we went to see Silver Falls,it was spectacular.I had ever seen it before.And we also took the picnic at the picnic area,it's great,we played waterballs,basketball,soccer,hit the box which was full of candies,etc.
Also when I got home,my home dad asked me that he would like to know if I miss my parents,and then I said "Yes,I also missed my friends in Taiwan." Then,he didn't speak anything,we just listened to the radio.
I guess most of the students missed their parents but they didn't speak out,didn't they?And Jenny had soccer practice,she had to practice until 7:30pm,so we did't eat dinner together,I think I start to miss the Taiwanese food,it's much better than American's.

Hum...today is Monday,our group separates from three different classes.In my class,I don't have any close friend to talk,and it makes me boring again.I really want to realize that how to separate ,why don't they separate three classes according to three different classes,I think the atmosphere will be better in each class.
In the afternoon we played bowling,it's fun,this is my first time to play bowling.Though I don't play well,I still like to play .We also met a new friend,a boy,called Kate,I guess.He is a Chinese,but when he was young,he had already moved to portland.He's not real Chinese.
At home,I talk about lot of things with my host family,I talked about China,Taiwan,America history and their relationship, it's complicated to explain,but I did it.
At dinner time I had some phone call,it's my aunt,she asked me"How am I?",I said "Everything is fine."And then she wanted to talk with my homestay mother,Lisa,because my father can't speak English,he asked my aunt to help him say "Hello!" to my host family,and asked her "Did I get troubles?" The phine indicated that phone number was "OUT OF AREA".And Lisa said "It's really out of area."

Today is the second day in the Portland.Imissed my parents and my friends so much,but I can't fly back to Taiwan right now.Ichoose this way to make my English better,also I think I have to finish my "work",after all,it was my choice.
Sometimes I am alone,I would cry secretly,I don't want to let anybody know that I was thinking about my parents,it's embarrassing.My host family is very friendly to me,and we are happy to see each other,at the first time we are nervous,because we had ever seen each other before,and we don't realize each other very well,we are quiet at the first meeting.
But today we can chat more than yesterday,it's good for me,I'm shy,I don't know how to find the topic between us.Also today I eat pizza with Lisa and Carrie who are my host mother and host sister,and we go shopping and buy clothes,it's different between Taiwan,because I can't find someone to pay for me,it's really unconvenient,isn't it?Today we also visit the NIKE TOWN,the shoes are cool but too expensive,I don't buy anything.I also shop at the music store,it's really different,because I can't find Taiwan's singer in music store,although it is a biggest misc store in that area.

Today is wonderful Sunday.First we go to church at about 9:40,I think it's a boring ceremony.In fact,it's not,it has a lot of fun,it has many differences between Taiwan's church.They use the kind of rock and roll step to sing the song,it's great,I like it.And they also have personal teenager church,lots of teenagers stay together,it has much fun,and we also dance,sing with them.It's just like Taiwan's Pub,but Ithink it's cnot so complicated in Taiwan,isn't it?
Today I also went to Saturday market,it sells many kinds of things,the sellers come from every city in the world,that's international.We also had a picnic together at the park with Taiwan's group.It's so funny,because so many people there.
And we also met Holly and her boyfriend,Jack,he is interesting.They kept a cat,called Kitty.Also I almost forgot to do my homework,fortunately,Carrie waked me up,and said "Don't forget to do your homework." It's really funny day.

Today is Saturday,I have to stay at home with homestay family all day,it's nervous.I got up at 10:00,it's late.Jenny and Joe who are my homestay sister and brother.Joe is grown up,he lives alone,so when Lisa saw him,she was very happy and said she missed him very much,and Joe told us that he taught the skate,it's all teenager.And Jenny go to "climb". She is fresh man,so she had a lot of activities in school.I think it's interesting.In the afternoon Steve and Lisa bring me to pick the blueberries from neighbor's field.It's really sweet and a little sour.I like it.And I picked a tube of blueberries.
And then we eat dinner with Carrie's friend who is Carrie's boyfriend I guess,but I don't ask them.After all it's privacy,isn't it?
